Spend four days in the California sunshine beginning with beautiful and exciting Venice Beach. Tour and have a clinic at UCLA, then continue on to Anaheim. Stay within walking distance to Disneyland, perform and have two fun-filled days enjoying all the fantastic rides. Glamorous Hollywood and the Sunset Strip are always fun to see, especially for talented young performers.

Day 1 - Portland to Los Angeles

7:26am Depart on a direct non-stop flight on Alaska Airlines to Los Angeles International Airport, and arrive at 9:42am.

Board deluxe, chartered motor coaches and proceed to nearby Venice, known for its Ocean Front Walk. Venice is alive every day with bicyclists, weight lifters, in-line skaters and street performers. This has been the beautiful backdrop for a number of movie and television productions, including “Baywatch”. Have lunch here before going to UCLA.

The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) occupies 419 acres in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains. The University’s cultural offerings draw visitors from around the world. Tour the campus, and have a music clinic.

Continue on to Anaheim and check-in to the Portofino Inn & Suites located across the street from Disney’s California Adventure and Disneyland Park. This new three-star rated property has a large outdoor heated swimming pool and sun deck, arcade, gift shop and full-service restaurant. Check-in for a three night stay.

This evening go to Downtown Disney, a 20-acre shopping, dining and entertainment district within walking distance to both theme parks. A nice spot to relax during the day, and at night enjoy the 12-plex theater; the House of Blues; a latin-themed dining and entertainment club, Y Aribba, Y Aribba!; ESPN Zone, a sports-themed restaurant and club; and an expansive World of Disney store.

Days 2 & 3 - Disneyland

The two-day Magic Music Days Package is included with multi-park admission, and one performance (subject to video taped audition, and separate photo of performance attire). A 90-minute work shop is available for an additional $10 per person.

Enter Disneyland Park through a 19th Century Railroad Station into 1890’s Main Street where parades are held daily. Admission includes all rides and attractions to magnificent, themed lands including: Tomorrowland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Adventureland, Critter Country, Mickey’s Toontown, and New Orleans Square.

Disney’s California Adventure Park is based on the adventures California has to offer. Enter through Sunshine Plaza where a 50 foot-tall sun tops a flowing fountain. Proceed under a replica of the Golden Gate Bridge to three themed lands: Paradise Pier; Hollywood Pictures Backlot, and the Golden State.

Day 4 - Los Angeles to Home

Discover the “City of Angels” with driver narration and professional guides. View fascinating architecture today including three buildings that make up Los Angeles’ Music Center: The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the Mark Taper Forum, and the Ahmanson Theater. The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion has repeatedly rolled out the red carpet for Hollywood’s actors and filmmakers during the Academy Awards ceremony. Between the Pavilion and the Forum, a fountain spurts bursts of water surrounded by a bronze sculpture titled “Peace on Earth”. Visit Hollywood, the Sunset Strip, and Mann’s Chinese Theater.

6:00pm Check-in with Alaska Airlines at the Los Angeles International Airport. Depart at 7:56pm on a direct non-stop flight to Portland arriving at 10:15pm
