SEATTLE & LEAVENWORTH, WASHINGTON

Springtime brings orchards full of blossoms and stunning snow-capped peaks as you travel to Seattle and the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth, Washington. Learn at a workshop, and see the campus at the University of Washington. Perform at the Seattle Center House Stage. Visit the Seattle Aquarium and Experience Music Project. Perform in a Gazebo in the flower-filled center of Leavenworth, and enjoy a bar-be-cue and hay ride at Red Tail Canyon Farm. Deluxe accommodations and all breakfasts are included.

Day 1 - Portland to Seattle

Board a deluxe motorcoach and head for the Emerald City of Seattle. Surrounded by the Olympic Mountains to the west, and the Cascade Range to the east, stunning views can be seen from the waterfront, and Pier 59 where you’ll visit the Seattle Aquarium. The aquarium features a 400,000-gallon Underwater Dome and 380 species of birds, fish and marine mammals. See a 15-foot waterfall and salmon streams including River Otters.

Continue on to the University of Washington for a workshop in the Music Building located in the middle of the Main Campus. Overnight at the Silver Cloud Inn University Village. Amenities include an indoor pool and spa. University Village is an outdoor mall with a choice of restaurants.

Day 2 - Seattle, then to Leavenworth

Wake to complimentary continental breakfast at your hotel of cereal, bagels, pastries, muffins, waffles, fresh fruit and more.

Next, visit Experience Music Project (EMP) a cultural institution designed to explore the creative process. Learn about musical culture and history, technology, and the craft of making music, plus the business of the music industry.

Next door at the Seattle Center perform at the indoor Center House Stage for the noon time crowds

Head for the high Cascades, and the quaint Bavarian Village of Leavenworth. Stay two nights at the Enzian Inn. Your hotel has a lovely breakfast room overlooking the town, and snow-capped mountains. Enjoy the indoor heated pool, or walk to the town square.

Day 3 - In Leavenworth

Wake to the alpenhorn, and included European breakfast buffet featuring home-made breads, and cook-to-order omelets.

Perform at noon in the flower-filled center of town under a covered gazebo. The Leavenworth Choral Festival is going on this weekend attracting visitors who enjoy musical entertainment.

Save your appetite for a delicious bar-be-cue and hay ride at Red Tail Canyon Farm. Enjoy chicken and ribs, lots of salads, rolls, and home-made apple pie. Draft Horses take you on a fun, old-fashioned hay ride.

Back in Leavenworth perform during mass at Our Lady of the Snow.

Day 4 - Leavenworth to Home

Breakfast is included again this morning before heading for home. Watch for inspiring views as you pass over the Columbia River, and along the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Perform in Hood River before returning home.
