SAN FRANCISCO MUSIC TOUR

San Francisco is one of America’s favorite cities, and its easy to see why. Cross the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge, and stay three nights at the Marriott Fisherman’s Wharf. Enjoy exciting shops, restaurants and entertain at Pier 39, then cruise to the seaside village of Sausalito. Have a music clinic and tour the beautiful campus at Stanford University. On Sunday sing at one of San Francisco’s beautiful Cathedrals before returning home.

Day 1

Depart Portland on a non-stop flight to Oakland at 7:00am, and arrive at 8:40am, (or depart 11:38am, arrive 1:19pm). Board a deluxe chartered motor coach for a narrated City Tour of San Francisco including the Civic Center, Opera House, and Davies Symphonic Hall. Drive along the Pacific Ocean and stop at the Cliff House. Cross the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge to Vista Point to enjoy a breathtaking view of San Francisco Bay, the City Skyline, Alcatraz Island, and Angel Island. Arrive Fisherman’s Wharf in time for lunch and exploring.

In the afternoon check-in to the San Francisco Marriott Fisherman’s Wharf for a three-night stay. Enter a warm lobby enhanced by a glowing fire and music from a grand piano. Located in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf, and within walking distance to dining, shopping and entertainment, your hotel has a full-service restaurant.

Day 2

Travel to Palo Alto and Stanford University. Tour the beautiful campus, and have a workshop at the Music Dept. Or visit and perform at Six Flaggs Marine World. Or, visit and perform at Mariotts Great America.

Day 3

Visit and perform at Pier 39 today. Pier 39 is within walking from Fisherman’s Wharf and is more like a boardwalk than a pier. There are more than 100 shops and 13 restaurants, a sailboat harbor, live music, street performers and a wonderful carousel. Sea Lions visit daily.

Next, board the Blue & Gold Fleet for a 30 minute cruise to Sausalito. Sausalito offers the Mediterranean-style charm of a seaside village tucked amongst the hills on the bay. Enjoy art galleries, shops, gardens, and gourmet restaurants before the return cruise to Pier 41.

Day 4

Perform for Sunday Mass at one of San Francisco’s beautiful Cathedrals. Grace Cathedral is an impressive historic building. Construction began in 1928 and was finally completed in 1964. It has many features including its stained glass windows, and a series of 1940s frescoes.

Return to the Oakland airport after mass and depart for Portland at 3:07pm arriving 4:41pm.
