Day 1 - Portland to New York City

10:00pm Arrive Portland International Airport, and check-in for Jet Blue Flight #166. Depart Portland at 11:59pm, and arrive JFK at 8:05am. Good morning NYC!

Day 2

8:30am Transfer from JFK to Manhattan. Luggage may be stored at your hotel until check-in at 3:00pm. Stay four nights at the Comfort Inn - Central Park West

Day 3, 4 & 5

Continental Breakfast is included each morning at your hotel of cereal, muffins, waffles, bagels, fruit, juice, milk & coffee.

This tour ran the Spring of 2007 with convention activities each day at Columbia University which were not included in the tour price. However, there are many sightseeing options that could be added for another group.

The Columbia campus is located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan at West 116th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue.

Transportation Options (not included):

• Taxi is the easiest, but most expensive, approx. fare is $15 (including tip) for no more than four persons per car.
• New York City Transit Subway - The #1 subway line stops at the 116th Street/Columbia University Station. Transit Fare (Subway and bus) is $2 per trip per person. MetroCards are the type of fare accepted and may be purchased from subway station clerks, authorized vendors (supermarkets, grocery stores, etc.) or by using automated vending machines located in most stations.
• New York City Transit Bus - Three bus routes are available. M104 and the M4 stop on Broadway and 116th Street, and the M11 stops on Amsterdam and 116th Street. Transit fare (subway and bus) is $2 per trip, per person and must be paid in exact change with coins (no pennies, or bills), or pay with a prepaid MetroCard.

Day 6 - New York City to Portland

Check-out time at the Comfort Inn is noon, bags may be stored at the hotel.
4:30pm Transfer to JFK Airport. It takes 45-65 minutes to get to the airport.
Check-in for Jet Blue flight #165.
Depart JFK at 7:30pm and arrive Portland at 11:04pm
